Exposure Walks
Details
Exposure dog walks are crucial for building your dog's confidence in unfamiliar environments. These walks use counter conditioning techniques outlined by Naturally Fluent Animal Training to help dogs face new sights, sounds, and experiences at their own pace, reducing fear and anxiety.
They’re especially beneficial for puppies, shy, reactive, or anxious dogs, allowing them to gradually get comfortable with different stimuli in a controlled, positive way.
Exposure walks not only improve your dog’s behavior but also enhance their mental well being, helping them feel more secure and confident in everyday situations.
